Job Purpose:

Manage and develop a designated corporate portfolio to build quality and profitability by nurturing existing accounts and sourcing new relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Portfolio Management:

    • Review and manage allocated portfolio accounts.
    • Recommend appropriate credit facilities aligned with the relationship strategy, MB's risk appetite, and profitability requirements.
    • Identify cross-selling opportunities for MB’s products/services.
  2. Account Planning:

    • Prepare and maintain detailed Account Plans for portfolio accounts.
    • Identify new prospects within the target market to drive growth.
  3. Client and Internal Controls:

    • Conduct regular client calls, manage documentation, resolve operational issues, and ensure payment regularization.
    • Collaborate with internal teams on credit reviews, documentation, approvals, and operational matters.
  4. Credit Proposal Preparation:

    • Prepare term sheets, financial models, risk assessments, and economic profitability reports.
    • Gather necessary information for new credit proposals, ensuring compliance with MB’s guidelines.
  5. Relationship Expansion:

    • Explore opportunities for expanding relationships within client groups and affiliations.
    • Promote cross-selling of MB’s products/services across business divisions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Strong relationship management and business development skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation, credit analytics, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and results orientation.
  • Proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, PPT) and Oracle/HRMS systems.
  • Experience in financial modeling and credit analytics.
