Description of the Role

AIX is hiring a Frontend Developer on a full-time basis. You will be in charge of creating and managing the user-facing components of our apps on a daily basis as a frontend developer. This include working with the backend development team, applying best practices for software development, and designing responsive websites. This position entails on-the-ground work in Muscat.

Primary Accountabilities:

Create a front-end website architecture that is aesthetically pleasing, including converting designer mock-ups into reusable, efficient code.

For new product features, develop creative wireframes and prototypes.

Work closely with back-end teams and UI/UX designers to guarantee smooth and quick online experiences.

While maintaining application usability, optimise programmes for optimal speed and scalability.

Keep the brand consistent throughout the design, carefully collaborating with the marketing and design teams to make sure every piece adheres to the brand's requirements.

Assist ML teams with integrating AI capabilities into platforms and making sure front-end functionalities are responsive and have minimal latency.

Assist with front-end ideation and feature validation by offering the product development teams technical advice and insight.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.

A track record of success in front-end development or a related position with a portfolio of design work.

Solid knowledge of web markup, including CSS3 and HTML5.

Proficient with JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, and client-side scripting.

Familiarity with sophisticated JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as DurandalJS, BackboneJS, AngularJS, or ReactJS.

Knowledge of content management systems, Photoshop, and the Adobe Suite.

Knowledge of CSS on the server side.

Familiarity with graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator.

A comprehension of SEO fundamentals.

Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulousness.

Desired Capabilities:

Familiarity with utilising financial services APIs or creating fintech applications.

Prior experience developing and integrating user-facing features with AI and machine learning teams.

Expertise in designing user flows, process flows, site maps, storyboards, and wireframes.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility problems and solutions.

Proficiency using programmes like Gimp or Photoshop to edit images and modify information.
