Duties and Positions:
The chosen applicant will report to the project manager and oversee a group of commissioning engineers. They will be in charge of overseeing and managing the creation of pre-commissioning activities that apply to every stage of the project.
Among their responsibilities were:
creation of detailed commissioning plans for each work area.
ensuring that all possible risks are recognised and that the plans include a risk assessment.
encourages input to be given throughout a project's estimating phase regarding the size of the work scope and the identification of any challenges or unique requirements.
Create a plan with the project manager to arrange the pre-commissioning.
communicates with the construction manager to develop a pre-commissioning and project completion integrated approach.
Completes documentation such as method statements, plants, procedures, and other necessary paperwork with the client or main contractor in order to carry out the project's completion and pre-commissioning phase.
oversees the development of the methods and procedures for commissioning.
helps to monitor and review all change orders, both recorded and possible.
Meeting deadlines by operating cost-effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
overseeing the group's development in compliance with the commissioning programme.
sets up and instructs the commissioning crew.
obtaining the client's permission for the procedure and commissioning paperwork in accordance with the project specifications.
System, Subsystem, Pre-commissioning, commissioning & SAT processes, and SPT procedures are reviewed and approved.
MCC, the "Ready for commissioning" certificate, the pre-commissioning certificate, the system handover certificate, and the final handover certificate are all reviewed and approved.
After assembling all testing certificates, inspection records, FAT and SAT reports, and punch list reports, reviews and approves the turn-over packages.
Pre-commissioning and testing of the equipment in the plant that is within his purview. commissioning of specific machinery, processes, and pump types (e.g., sump pump, dual media filter, reverse osmosis unit, electro chlorination unit, vertical diesel fire pump, centrifugal pump, and so forth).
P&IDs, flow diagrams, mass balances, and hydraulic analyses are all reviewed.
participation in risk assessments and HAZOP/HAZID programmes.
examining the dimensions of the equipment, processing datasheet information for the mechanical and instrument systems, and creating the PFD and P&ID.
In-depth Planning in EPIC At the execution stage, make sure that the equipment and designs chosen are the best options available in terms of safety, cost, and compliance with the most recent codes and standards.
in charge of starting and stopping the plant in accordance with the orderly operation.
accountable for the plant's performance (e.g., pH, turbidity, TDS, free chlorine, and SDI, the water quality measure). ORP and adjust the dosage appropriately to fulfil the requirements.
Complete plant performance tested and turned over to the client.
carries out any more related tasks that are given.
Ideal Candidate Profile

🎓 Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical)
1) A minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with ADNOC experience, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or E&I engineering
2) A minimum of five years' experience in a managerial role, with prior Wells and migration experience
3) Familiarity with the procedures and requirements for mechanical commissioning for oil and gas projects in the United Arab Emirates.
